Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 25 September 2026

These terms cover your use of lownodrinker.com and purchases of digital products from Low No Drinker. By using the website, you agree to the website terms below. The terms relevant to a purchase will be shown to you before you pay.

1. About us

This website is owned and operated by Denise Hamilton-Mace, trading as Low No Drinker.

Address: 19 Acre Lane, London, SM5 3AA
Email: denise@lownodrinker.com
Website: https://www.lownodrinker.com

In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Low No Drinker.

2. About this website

Low No Drinker publishes articles, podcasts, tools and information about mindful drinking, moderation, drinking habits and low- and no-alcohol drinks. The website is intended for adults aged 18 and over.

Its content is for general information and education. It is not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional.

3. Not medical advice

We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis or addiction treatment. People’s health and circumstances differ, so an approach discussed on this website or in one of our products may not be suitable for everyone.

Seek appropriate professional advice if you are concerned about your drinking or health; think you may be physically dependent on alcohol; experience withdrawal symptoms; have been advised not to drink; are pregnant, trying to become pregnant or breastfeeding; take medication or have a condition that alcohol may affect; or are unsure whether changing your drinking without medical support is safe.

Do not delay seeking professional or emergency help because of anything you have read, heard or downloaded from us.

4. No guaranteed results

Our examples, exercises and strategies are provided for information and personal use. We cannot guarantee a particular result from using the website, the Beginner’s Guide or the Reset. Your circumstances, choices and health will affect your experience. Another person’s results are not a promise of yours.

5. Drinks information and recommendations

We use the information available when we prepare or update content about drinks. Ingredients, alcohol content, prices, availability and retailers can change, and products may differ between countries.

Check the current label and the manufacturer’s or retailer’s information before buying or consuming a drink. You are responsible for checking whether it suits your needs, including its alcohol content, ingredients, allergens, nutritional information and any relevant health, medication, pregnancy, religious or personal considerations.

Terms such as “alcohol-free”, “non-alcoholic” and “low alcohol” may be used differently in different countries. Our descriptions do not replace the label on a particular product. Recommendations are our honest opinions; taste and suitability are personal.

6. Affiliate links and commercial relationships

Some pages contain affiliate links. If you buy through one, we may receive a commission, usually without changing the price you pay. We identify affiliate links and other relevant commercial relationships where they appear.

A payment, commission or product supplied for review does not guarantee favourable coverage. When you buy from another retailer, check that retailer’s current product information and terms. Unless we say otherwise, the retailer is responsible for that sale and its fulfilment.

7. External links and services

The website links to services run by other organisations, including podcast platforms, quiz providers, email services, retailers and information sources. We do not control their availability, content, security or practices. Their own terms and policies apply when you use them. A link does not mean we endorse everything they publish or sell.

8. Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, our articles, guides, exercises, downloads, podcast materials, images, branding and website content belong to Denise Hamilton-Mace or are used with permission.

You may view publicly available content for personal, non-commercial use, print or download a reasonable extract for your own use, and share a link to it. Buying a digital product gives you permission to use your copy personally. It does not transfer copyright to you.

Without prior written permission, you may not copy or distribute complete articles or products; republish substantial parts of our content; remove attribution or branding; sell or use our materials to provide your own paid service; upload them to another website or database; systematically scrape the website; or use our content to train or develop an artificial-intelligence system or dataset. Uses permitted by law, such as fair quotation for genuine review or criticism, remain permitted.

Contact us if you would like permission to reproduce or license anything.

9. Comments and submissions

If you submit a comment, question, review or testimonial, you are responsible for what you provide. Do not submit material that is unlawful, abusive, discriminatory, misleading, promotional spam, harmful to the website, or that infringes another person’s rights or exposes their private information.

We may moderate, edit, decline or remove submissions where reasonably necessary. If you submit something for publication, you permit us to display and format it for that purpose. We will not turn a private message into a public testimonial without your permission.

Do not post confidential information or medical or personal details that you do not want made public.

10. Acceptable use

Do not use the website unlawfully or fraudulently; attempt unauthorised access; interfere with its operation or security; introduce harmful code; impersonate someone else; send spam using our content; or scrape the website through automated or excessive requests.

We may restrict access where we reasonably believe the website is being misused.

11. Website availability

We aim to keep the website working and its information reasonably accurate. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted access, that every link or feature will always work, or that all published information will remain current. We may update, suspend or remove website content and features.

12. Buying digital products from us

The description and price shown before checkout tell you what is included in a particular product. Check those details before paying. Our digital products are supplied electronically; no physical item will be posted unless the product description expressly says otherwise.

The Beginner’s Guide. The Beginner’s Guide to Mindful Drinking & Moderation in Midlife and its included bonuses are digital downloads. Access is sent to the email address you provide when purchasing. If you have trouble accessing your purchase, contact denise@lownodrinker.com.

Guide refunds and cancellation. We do not offer a voluntary change-of-mind refund once delivery of the Guide has begun. If you ask to receive it during the statutory 14-day cancellation period, you will be asked at checkout to expressly consent to delivery beginning and acknowledge that you will lose your right to cancel once it begins. If delivery has not begun, any statutory cancellation right still applies. Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights if the content is faulty, does not match its description or has not been supplied.

Guide credit towards the Reset. If you buy the Beginner’s Guide, the £29 you paid for it can be taken off a later purchase of the 4-Week Midlife Mindful Drinking Reset. There is no deadline to use this credit. To claim, follow the instructions in your Guide purchase email.

The Reset. The 4-Week Midlife Mindful Drinking Reset is described on its sales page. Its seven-day money-back guarantee applies to the Reset, not to the Beginner’s Guide. The terms of that guarantee are set out on the Reset sales page.

The Guide and Reset are educational products. Neither replaces medical or therapeutic care, and neither guarantees a particular change in your drinking.

13. Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms removes or restricts a right or liability where doing so would be unlawful. This includes your statutory consumer rights and liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

We are not responsible for decisions made solely in reliance on general website content; information supplied by a manufacturer, retailer or other third party; or the actions and products of external websites. We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when you used the website or bought from us.

If you use the website for business purposes, we are not responsible for lost profit, revenue, contracts, data or business opportunities.

14. Privacy and cookies

Our Privacy Policy explains how we use personal information. Our cookie notice and website controls explain the use of cookies and similar technologies.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when our website, products or legal requirements change. The current version and its update date will appear on this page. Changes to the website terms apply to subsequent use of the website. Terms agreed when you bought a product will not be changed retrospectively without your agreement where that agreement is required.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you retain any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you and may be entitled to bring a claim in your local courts.

For business use of the website, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes connected with these terms.
